The second edition of the Argentinian Cider Festival took place on 12th and 13th November in the town hall of General Roca in the province of Río Negro, Patagonia. This is the only festival in the country where you could enjoy the Patio Sidrero, gastronomic proposals including typical food from Italy, Spain, Chile, Israel and Lebanon, some of which are based on cider.
La segunda edición del Festival de la Sidra de Argentina tuvo lugar los días 12 y 13 de noviembre en el Ayuntamiento de General Roca en la provincia de Río Negro, Patagonia. Es éste el único festival del país donde se pudo disfrutar del Patio Sidrero, propuestas gastronómicas donde se incluyen comidas típicas de Italia, España, Chile, Israel y Líbano, algunas de las cuales tienen como base la sidra.
This year there were more than 25 cider mills with 30 varieties of sparkling apple and pear cider, in an event that aims to promote cidermaking and rural tourism. With the aim of bringing cider producers closer to institutions such as INTA, INTI, UNRN and UNCO, talks were given on cider and cider production.
Este año se pudieron encontrar más de 25 lagares con 30 variedades de sidra espumosa de manzana y pera, en un evento que propone difundir la actividad sidrera y el turismo rural. Con el objetivo de acercar a los sidreros a las instituciones como INTA, INTI, UNRN Y UNCO, se realizaron charlas sobre temas relacionados con la sidra y su elaboración.

CIDER FESTIVAL IN ARGENTINA 2021
The Cider and Rural Tourism Festival in Roca was held for the first time on 9 and 10 October 2021.
During the event there was a large number of people who were able to taste the different varieties of ciders from more than 25 local companies, from the region and other areas of the country.
There was also a special tasting of different sparkling ciders made from non-traditional apple varieties.
Informative talks with cider makers, a meeting of producers and a varied gastronomic offer based on this drink accompanied another series of activities such as live music, children’s games and raffles.
FESTIVAL DE LA SIDRA DE ARGENTINA 2021
El Festival de la Sidra y el Turismo Rural en Roca se celebró por primera vez los días 9 y 10 de octubre de 2021.
Durante el evento hubo una gran afluencia de público que pudo degustar las distintas variedades de sidras de más de 25 empresas locales, de la región y otras zonas del país.
Además se realizó una degustación especial de distintas sidras espumosas, elaboradas con variedades no tradicionales de manzana.
Charlas informativas con elaboradores de sidra, encuentro de productores y una variada propuesta gastronómica basada en esta bebida acompañó a otra serie de actividades como música en vivo, juegos infantiles y sorteos.
