ASTURIAN CIDERS IN THE ASIAN MARKET/ Sidra asturiana en el mercado asiático

Once again this year, Asturian cider has been featured at two of the Asian market’s leading gastronomic events.

Gulfood 2026 took place from 26th to 30th January in Dubai, cementing its position as the world’s largest annual food and beverage (F&B) sourcing event. This year’s event took place across two venues: the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City Dubai, bringing together over 6,500 exhibitors from more than 130 countries. The fair is a key meeting point for global buyers, retailers and distributors, focusing on the transformation of the food system and the creation of strategic alliances.

Manuel Busto Amandi (Sidra Mayador), currently present in over 85 countries, once again represented Asturian cider with his sparkling juices, MAY Gold being his best-selling product.

Foodex Japan 2026 took place from 10th to 13th March at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan, establishing itself as the most important food and beverage trade fair in the Asia-Pacific region. This 51st edition brought together industry professionals to explore packaged and fresh products, beverages and equipment, serving as a key gateway to the Japanese market.

Focused on the professional supply chain and attracting over 70,000 buyers and industry professionals, this trade fair is essential for positioning products in a market characterised by high purchasing power and significant growth potential.
