The oldest international brewing and cider competition in the world has reflected the changing trends of the world wide brewing industry for over 130 years.
The International Brewing and Cider Festival, born from the International Brewing & Cider Awards which began in 1886 is a not for profit event that wants to support the local Manchester community by bringing a fantastic opportunity to sample products from around the globe. The festival gives both trade and the public a chance to sample products from all entries and award winners.
El concurso internacional de cerveza y sidra más antiguo del mundo ha reflejado las tendencias cambiantes de la industria cervecera mundial durante más de 130 años.
El Festival Internacional de la Cerveza y la Sidra, nacido a partir de los Premios Internacionales de la Cerveza y la Sidra que comenzaron en 1886, es un evento sin ánimo de lucro que quiere apoyar a la comunidad local de Manchester ofreciendo una fantástica oportunidad de degustar productos de todo el mundo. El festival ofrece tanto al comercio como al público la oportunidad de degustar productos de todos los participantes y ganadores de premios.
This year the competition took place from 19th to 21st March followed by the International Beer and Cider Festival on 22nd and 23rd March which was held at Mayfield Depot, Manchester. The event was spilt into two zones, The Competition Zone (awards entries) and The Bar Zone.
Their aim was to bring the industry and the community together to celebrate excellence in both brewing and cider making, giving breweries and cideries a platform to promote their brand, showcase their products and most importantly, tell their stories.
Este año, el concurso se celebró del 19 al 21 de marzo, seguido del Festival Internacional de la Cerveza y la Sidra, que tuvo lugar los días 22 y 23 de marzo en Mayfield Depot, Manchester. El evento se dividió en dos zonas: la Zona de Competición (premios) y la Zona de Bar.
Su objetivo era reunir a la industria y a la comunidad para celebrar la excelencia tanto en la elaboración de cerveza como de sidra, ofreciendo a las cervecerías y sidrerías una plataforma para promocionar su marca, mostrar sus productos y, lo que es más importante, contar sus historias.
Once again, Grupo El Gaitero has achieved recognition at this festival, winning two medals: gold for El Gaitero Etiqueta Negra in the category of Modern Semi-Dry Cider and silver for its Spanish Cider Red Grape in the category of Ciders with other Fruits and Flowers.
Una vez más, Grupo El Gaitero ha conseguido reconocimientos en este festival, alzándose con dos medallas: oro por El Gaitero Etiqueta Negra en la categoría de Sidra Moderna Semiseca y plata con su Spanish Cider Red Grape en la categoría de Sidras con otras Frutas y Flores.
