CINVE 2026

The CINVE International Competition is a prestigious event established in 2006 and officially recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture. It is dedicated to evaluating and rewarding excellence in agri-food products through blind tastings conducted by international experts. The competition covers separate categories for wines, extra virgin olive oils, spirits, vermouths, ciders, vinegars, sakes and shochus.

The 2026 edition of CINVE held its tasting sessions between 26th and 29th March in Caceres, bringing together an international jury comprising experts, sommeliers, oenologists, tasters and specialist journalists from various countries.

During the event, the excellence of products from different regions of Spain and from countries such as Peru, Mexico, Turkey, Portugal, Argentina, Abu Dhabi and Jordan was recognised, reflecting CINVE’s consolidation as an international platform for the promotion and recognition of quality products since its creation by Jesus Guirau.

In the cider section, the participating categories were as follows: natural, sparkling, flavoured, ice cider, low-alcohol and non-alcoholic.

The Asturian ice ciders Valveran 20 Manzanas and Viuda de Angelon were awarded the Grand Gold Diploma and the Gold Diploma respectively.
