Japan Cider Cup, which this year took place on Saturday 22nd April at the Tokyo Tama Mirai Messe in Hachioji, is an event that started in November 2022 under the sponsorship of InCiderJapan, making it the country’s premier international cider competition.

The tasting competition segment of the Japan Cider Cup is open to all domestic cider producers and importers, and also accepts international entries. Entries are scored in three separate rounds by members of the Japanese public, culinary professionals and a number of invited experts from around the world. The Japan Cider Cup also features special showcases of selected international cider makers, whose winners are announced and awarded at the Japan Cider Cup, held in April the following year.
El segmento de competición de degustación de Japan Cider Cup está abierto a todos los productores e importadores de sidra nacionales, y también acepta inscripciones internacionales. Las sidras inscritas son puntuadas en tres rondas independientes por miembros del público japonés, profesionales de la gastronomía y un buen número de expertos invitados de todo el mundo. In addition to the award ceremony, the Japan Cider Cup offers attendees the opportunity to taste and purchase not only the winning ciders, but also beers and food from other suppliers. During the event, attendees can participate in various fun activities such as games, raffles and presentations.
